Core pillars of success in dental ceramics
Yan Barrozzo
Success in dental ceramics goes far beyond technical execution. This lecture presents a strategic framework built on three core pillars essential for professional excellence and long-term success. The first pillar explores theoretical knowledge, emphasizing material science, color theory, optical behavior, and biomimetics as the foundation for conscious decision-making. The second pillar focuses on technical mastery, highlighting the importance of specialization while maintaining versatility across different ceramic techniques. The third pillar addresses communication, positioning the ceramist as a strategic partner capable of guiding clinicians through clear language and shared decision-making. By integrating knowledge, technique, and communication, this lecture offers a practical vision for building a strong and sustainable career in dental ceramics.

The total prosthesis: the queen of all prosthetic rehabilitations.
Salvatore Marono
The primary goals of implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation in totally edentulous patients are to restore both function, allowing for the resumption of normal chewing, and aesthetics. In recent years, we have witnessed the widespread use of osseointegrated implants and digital technologies as rehabilitative solutions. However, the role of complete dentures continues to be essential for the design and implementation of effective prosthetic solutions for the treatment of edentulism.
During this meeting, we will explore fundamental concepts and methods for the construction of complete dentures using a closed-mouth impression technique. This simplifies the rehabilitation process, meeting both the patient's aesthetic and functional needs while reducing operating times.
